I love this game but I’ve learned to save money and get topped up by friends who sell better packages than the deals made by game creators. Instead of spending $100 on smaller top ups I’ve spent $105 anfd received hundreds of thousands of food and rubies plus way more energy than I can spend.

It was great and lots of fun

I used to love this game! But the new update completely messed it up. In order to get resources you now I have to feed beavers and therefore, I am constantly running out of resources as they also changed the adventure islands. I used to be able to harvest at the adventure Islands and use it on the home Island. This does not work anymore. It’s holding you back and completely changed the whole dynamic of the gameplay.

After you level up a few times, it becomes harder and harder to get things done on ANY island. Resources don’t replenish on home island. Completing even a part of a task tanks your energy and resources. You can literally only play for a few minutes before running out of energy and resources again. I already know that if I buy something I will run through it just as quick. So I guess I will have to stop playing this one. It’s hardly free to play.

I’ve played this game for a long time, and have enjoyed it. More recently, though, the amount of energy you gave to use to buy resources has gotten ridiculous. As such it slows things down, and gets monotonous. I’m not expecting it to be super easy to get through each island, but it’s just taking forever to progress. It turned out that they had you download the game and it locked the phone. It is a ridiculous nonsense game that has you randomly chop a bush and collect a rope. I love this game soooooooo much! I have been playing this for years. When you are farming for energy and making your items. The item count never changes unless you buy a lot of energy or spend a lot of energy to get ahead! I love to keep up with my item count and when you know ur item is correct so much times you have go back and start rebuilding your item count again! I feel so damn cheated when this keeps happening! It’s fun but unless you’re willing to pay regularly for extra supplies, you really only get a minute or two of play at a time before you run out of energy. Then you have to wait an hour for it to reload just to make a single move and you’re out again and depending on the move you may not even get to do that. It takes days to complete a single task unless you buy packages and it’s not worth hundreds of dollars a week to play.

I loved playing this game, would spend hours on it, but after an update that changed basically how the whole game played ruined it for me. You can no longer harvest materials off your island, you have to feed these stupid animals that give you no materials to build or upgrade your island. After 6 years of playing there have been some very frustrating changes. Once you think you're getting closer to a top level they changed it. It does seem to be running out of space and making it a little harder to enjoy playing .

Since the last update I’m not getting rewards after watch videos

Game was great, I’ve had it well over a year. You play by clearing things with “energy” and when you run out you have to wait until it builds back up. I decided I didn’t want to wait and was going to make a purchase of energy for $8.99 only to be charged $37.99. I have messaged the ai support thing and there’s nothing I can do to get the money back. Very upsetting.

It’s fun until you reach the higher levels and the max free energy is 120 but it costs 198 to get ONE of the many many items you need to progress to the next quest. Literally impossible to continue playing the game unless you buy energy and about $10 worth of energy lasts about 5 minutes! Fun, right? 🙄

One of the updates removed 50% of the progress I’ve built up in the game, removing soil patches, animals and all but one energy generating tree. So disappointing as it was a good game until developers made it near impossible to enjoy.

Das Spiel ist an sich sehr schön, allerdings benötigt man einfach zu viel Energie auf den anderen Inseln. Auch die Materialien können nicht gesammelt werden die man benötigt um Verbesserungen zu erreichen. Vielleicht wäre es besser, Möglichkeiten zu schaffen um Materialien zu sammeln und z.b. Holzlöffel herzustellen.

Ich habe das Spiel immer sehr gerne gespielt. Es war ohne echtes Geld immer sehr schwierig die Aufgaben vollständig zu lösen. I’ve been playing Family Island for 3 months and have spent a considerable amount of money on it. I updated it today and found that most of my animals, energy trees and beaver helpers were missing. I’ve spent 1 hour with customer (non) support to find that the removal of these items was PLANNED. So, they’ve now made this game even harder to progress through. Je me connecte chaque jour afin d’avancer, et c’est vraiment galère. La moindre quête demande énormément d’énergie. Updated the game and lost harvest fields, animals, generator trees... Not happy! I was already struggling to get through the adventure islands without spending, I definitely won't be spending any more money

Je suis agacée quelque peu on ne peut pas avancer comme on veut dans le village principal il faut forcément faire les missions qui ne fournissent pas d’équipement pour le village mais uniquement pour l’île en question je trouves ça navrant le village principal a tendance à être laissé de côté de ce fait c’est dommage

Ich habe es bis Level 10 erreicht für Toca boca das man ja alles in Toca boca hat also die ganze Welt aber es ist Nix passiert ich habe mir sehr viel Mühe gegeben und sehr oft versucht aber Nix ich finde aber toll das ihr es macht

Aber zu lange Levels, wenn man nichts kauft dauert es Tage bis man etwas fertig hat. Auch um Erweiterungen zu bekommen: erst Level 9, dann 10 dann 11…. Nervig. Auch für die die nichts kaufen einfacher gestalten. Das Spiel ist sonst an sich klasse

Im Moment kann ich ständig die Werbung nicht beenden, sondern muss das Spiel neu laden. Die viele Werbung ansich ist schon nervig, aber so wird das Spiel unspielbar. Schade Was soll diese Antwort? Erstens hat sie nichts mit meinem Problem zu tun und zweitens wäre eine Reaktion in der gleichen Sprache angemessen. Ich hatte gerade auch das dritte Video in Folge, das sich nicht beenden lässt.

Not sure what has changed but I can’t play the game. Have updated app and iOS so both are the latest. Have restarted iPad. And app still will not open. Has been 3+ days. Any suggestion?

After upgrading to IOS 26.4 the app loads to 50% and then crashes. It is now unusable.

Ich habe extra viele goldene Schlüssel gesammelt dann habe ich 4 Schlüssel für Energie ausgegeben dann hat eine neue Session gestartet und meine Energie ging bis auf 25 stk runter. Der Support ist mies weil keine Antwort kommt. Habe andere Games da ist der Support erstklassig daran solltet ihr mal arbeiten und steckt euch die Energie die ich verloren habe dahin wo die Sonne nie scheint

I really do love this game, once you start getting the hang of it and how it works - what you have to do it really is a good game and i really do enjoy playing on it it’s just once you get up to higher levels and you have to do the different islands it takes up more of your energy the higher you go and to complete the tasks so it takes longer than what it should because you keep having to wait for your energy to get up again that’s the only downside I would say is to the game because you keep ha

Cela fait plusieurs semaines que les bonus de construction passent à la trappe…. Mon jardin potager est de la même taille depuis plusieurs niveaux. Je vois que certaines constructions devraient me donner des extensions de terrain, mais rien n’arrive dans mon inventaire . 😩

This game is fun BUT … once you’re nearing the end of the islands the energy goes so fast !! Or it just disappears ! Other items go missing as well. At times it takes weeks to finish 3-4 islands. I spent $$$ on the game they also don’t let you have special cards when u buy a “package” all duplicates !! BS !! There’s trouble with it right now ! For some reason I can not clear my land of rocks, trees, or bushes. DO NOT WASTE $$, or time this game can be addictive ! :/

This game is ok and when you have energy, but working out how much energy it takes just to move past 1 task could take a full week as it takes 2minutes just to get 1 energy and 1 task could easily need over 3600+ (I added up the one I’m on now and it was over that). My max energy bar is 200, so if I was to play this game for 24hrs, the max energy I would get from the above would be 720! That’s so unrealistic to be a functioning, fun game that doesn’t get boring as I refuse to spend money. Yes th

Some events legit cost so much energy, you can only do one thing. Then close the game. When you have enough energy, its fun.

The developers are only interested in far to many adverts money everything takes to long and the adverts constantly to earn to move in is ridiculous thinking of removing it

I will have given it five stars if it wasn’t because when the energy is full it all gets drained out in just a second because everything that I remove drains out all the energy and then I have to purchase more energy to keep going and level up. The resources will run out and then I’ll have to wait a long time so it comes back or I have to go to a event that make me drain all the energy which leads me purchasing more energy.

I have no Idea how to play this. I just don't get it, but whether it's because I'm playing on my phone instead of the tablet I'm not sure.

I have been playing this game for quite a few years, but the latest upgrades have taken all of the enjoyment out of it, 15 pop ups before you even get in all asking for money, materials no longer replenish and the beavers are not a great substitute, it takes so long to make all of the items needed to upgrade a piece of kit that I lose interest. It’s a shame as this used to be a great game to play.

I was enjoying this game until i bought some energy and ever since then ive been stuck on the same level and i cant complete the tasks in time and gain rewards, i was looking for a new game i can play everynight and not be forced to buy energy or for the gameplay to become harder!

I’ve been playing this game for a couple of months now and absolutely love it, this morning it asked me to update the game in which I did. Now it won’t open at all and sends me back to the update page. I’ve tried uninstalling then reinstalling the game but it still doesn’t work. Can you help.

In den Vorschau Bildern sieht es so aus als ob es ein vertikales Spiel sei. Als ich es dann heruntergeladen habe, konnte ich das Telefon nicht vertikal halten, der Bildschirm blieb immer horizontal. Musste das Spiel wieder löschen weil ich keine zweihand Spiele spielen will , sondern das Handy lieber mit einer Hand aufrecht halte.

Was fun until around Level 10 then all the energy boosts in game suddenly were far far less frequent, meaning the game all but stopped due to lack of energy. Energy is needed to do pretty much anything, definitely more just a clicker game than anything else. Quickly became boring waiting for energy to reload, building maybe 2 items max not enough to complete anything even with full energy, then back to waiting for more energy to reload.
